Re-Branding NCLB – Hmmm…

Not that I think what they call it really matters, but Arne Duncan, the new Secretary of Education, is thinking about re-branding the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) law. Maybe if nothing else a new name could set the tone? Anyhow, he wants ideas – as quoted in a US News interview:

Asked what he would call a new version of the law, Duncan answered, “Don’t know yet. I’m open to ideas.”

So, any ideas? I’m still formulating mine.

Learning is messy!

  1. Hi nice post, i have come across your site once before when searching for something so i was just wondering something. I love your theme, would it happen to be a free one i can download, or is it a custom one you had made? In a few weeks i will be launching my own site, i’m not great with designs but i really like the style of your site so it would be cool if i could find (or pay for) something with a similar look. 🙂 Thanks!

  2. Hi Jared – My theme is just the standard WordPress theme – here is how it is described::
“WordPress Default 1.6 by Michael Heilemann

The default WordPress theme based on the famous Kubrick.

All of this theme’s files are located in /themes/default.

Tags: blue, custom header, fixed width, two columns, widgets”

I did change the banner at the top (with some help from someone that knows more than I) – but it really isn’t that hard), and hope to make it even better soon – or I might switch themes. Hope that helps.
